Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 18 September 2026

Scope of the policy and the products or services it covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases and bookings made through the website operated by starrynuvo. It covers access to our Course A stage and entertainment production resources, including materials on spotlight visuals, camera movement techniques, interview setup procedures, and smooth workflows for show coverage. These are digital resources provided as online courses and downloadable content for professionals and enthusiasts in the entertainment industry based in the United Kingdom.

Prices, currencies, taxes, and any additional charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Prices include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate where applicable. No additional charges apply beyond the stated price unless a customer opts for optional add-ons such as extended access periods. Any changes to pricing will be clearly indicated before purchase confirmation.

Accepted payment methods, payment authorisation, and payment security

We accept major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express processed through secure third-party gateways. Payment authorisation occurs immediately upon order submission. All transactions are protected by industry-standard encryption and comply with UK data protection requirements under the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR. We do not store card details on our systems.

Order, booking, or service confirmation and when a contract is formed

A contract is formed when you receive an email confirmation of your order or booking after submitting payment details. This confirmation outlines the specific resources accessed, such as modules on camera movement and interview setup. You will receive immediate access to digital content upon successful payment processing.

Cancellation rights and applicable cancellation periods

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase to cancel without reason for most digital content. However, if you begin downloading or accessing the resources immediately, this right may be lost. Cancellations must be notified in writing via the contact form on our Contacts page.

Refund eligibility, exclusions, and non-refundable items or services

Refunds are available for unused digital resources within the cooling-off period if access has not commenced. Exclusions apply to any content already downloaded or streamed, promotional bundles, and services where customisation has occurred such as tailored workflow consultations. Non-refundable items include any partial access already granted.

The step-by-step procedure and information required to request a refund

To request a refund, submit a message through the contact form on our Contacts page including your order number, date of purchase, and reason for the request. Provide details of the specific Course A resources involved, such as spotlight visuals modules. We will acknowledge receipt within two working days.

Inspection, approval, rejection, and notification of the refund decision

Our team will inspect the request against eligibility criteria within five working days. You will be notified by email of approval or rejection, with clear reasons provided if rejected. Approved refunds will proceed to processing without further action required from you.

Refund method, processing time, and when funds should reach the customer

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used. Processing typically takes five to ten working days, with funds appearing on your statement within fourteen days of approval. In cases of delays beyond this, contact us via [email protected] for an update.

Special rules for digital content, subscriptions, services, or promotional offers where relevant

Digital content such as our production resource modules becomes non-returnable once access begins. Subscriptions for ongoing access to updated workflows for show coverage follow the same 14-day rule but become non-refundable after initial access. Promotional offers are subject to the same eligibility checks and may have shorter validity periods noted at purchase.

Failed payments, duplicate charges, chargebacks, and suspected fraud

Failed payments will be notified immediately with an option to retry. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded automatically if confirmed. Chargebacks must be reported to your card issuer, after which we will review and respond. Suspected fraud leads to immediate account suspension and reporting to relevant UK authorities while protecting customer data under PECR and UK GDPR.

Mandatory consumer rights in the target country that the policy cannot exclude

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other UK legislation, including the right to goods and services of satisfactory quality. We cannot exclude liability for personal injury or fraud. For queries on these rights, reach us at [email protected] or Old Wheatley Farm, Pocombe Bridge, Exeter, Devon EX4 2HA, United Kingdom.
